Job summary

Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Collection in Telluride’s Mountain Village is seeking an In-Room Dining Server to provide memorable, high-quality service to guests and colleagues. You will take and input orders, deliver items, maintain beverage and snack presentation, ensure accurate billing, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards in all in-room dining experiences.

Applicants should have at least one year of customer service or hospitality experience, be able to work weekends/holidays,

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in customer service or the foodservice/hospitality industry.
• Must meet the minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
• Ability to lift 30lbs

Responsibilities

• Accurately and quickly take and place orders and input them into the POS system ensuring correct timing and billing.
• Deliver requested items in an efficient and timely manner.
• Relate with guests about needs, and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
• Retrieve orders from the POS system and communicate any special requests or modifications to the kitchen. Maintain knowledge of all menu items.
• Prepare the guest check accurately and collect payment or signature, as required
• Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant equipment and fittings
• Ensure that the food delivery is tidy and keep an accurate par of food items such as beverages and snacks, as well as non-food items like menu cards, napkins, straws, etc. on cart and in storage areas.
• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper skills and food safety guidelines
• Clean and maintain in-room private/mini-bars; report damage, or malfunctioning units
• Check quality and expiration of all items; discard and replace according to established procedures.

The targeted compensation rate for this full time year round, non‑exempt position is $12.14/hr + tips. The position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Collection.

Job Description
