Conrad Indianapolis is looking for a In-Room Dining Captain to join the In-Room Dining team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career within a Fortune 500 company and a luxury brand.

This 23-story hotel features 247 rooms, 15,000 sq ft of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, including The Capital Grille, Tastings - Wine Bar & Bistro, and in-room dining.

  • Classification: Full-Time
  • Shift: AM and PM availability required, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

The In-Room Dining Captain assists management in delivering food and beverage service to guests, ensuring outstanding service and profitability. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising service operations, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Training new team members on daily operations and systems
  • Setting up trays and tables for service
  • Presenting checks, retrieving orders, and delivering food and amenities to guest rooms and meeting spaces
  • Serving meals, responding to guest requests, and handling payments
  • Addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Answering room service calls as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel policies and regulations
  • Maintaining inventory levels for the department
