Job summary

Urbana Country Club seeks a friendly Hotel Breakfast Server to deliver in-room dining with gracious, personalized service. This on-call role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy, and a memorable guest experience in guest rooms or suites during peak mornings and events.

Experience in food & beverage or luxury hospitality is preferred; knowledge of menu items, wine service, and proper food handling is a plus. Flexible availability with early shifts and weekend coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Previous food & beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, wine service, and fine dining etiquette is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promptly deliver in-room dining orders according to standards.
• Greet guests warmly and describe menu items and accompaniments.
• Set up in-room dining tables/trays with correct presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of current menu, specials, wine list, and promos.
• Relay special requests or dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Ensure timely pickup of trays and ware from rooms.
• Handle transactions per cash handling and POS procedures.
• Communicate guest feedback to management.
• Maintain cleanliness of in-room dining area and equipment.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with other service needs during off-peak hours.
