Job summary

RMB Products is seeking an In-Process Quality Inspector I to support quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process. This role performs in-process inspections, verifies product conformance to engineering specifications, and ensures quality standards are maintained within assigned Value Streams.

The position supports the Quality At The Source (QATS) initiative and has authority to halt nonconforming material until disposition is determined.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 0-2 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with common precision measuring tools and QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of components and finished products to verify conformance to drawings and quality requirements.
• Inspect product characteristics including dimensional, visual, mechanical, and performance aspects.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records per procedures.
• Identify, document, and communicate discrepancies during inspection activities.
