Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that in process parts & materials are reviewed for quality compliance during production flow.
• Assist in determining parts conformance and serviceability.
• Performing in process inspections to ensure compliance with maintenance documentation and quality of workmanship.
• Verify P/N and S/N on items.
• Review article trace documentation to accurately identify suspect unapproved parts.
• Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or work Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Holder of FAA Airframe and or Power plant (A&P) license or repairman certificate Preferred.
• At Least 18 months of aviation experience Required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and comply with OSHA standards.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for extended periods of time.
