Job summary

KBI Biopharma, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking an In-Process Support Associate with a strong protein chemistry background to support cGMP in-process analytical testing, data analysis, and routine QC release activities.

The role focuses on HPLC and UV-Vis analyses, data integrity reviews of STAT samples, and collaboration with manufacturing. Night/weekend work may be required on occasion; first shift is typical.

Qualifications

• BS in scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Experience in QC analysis of proteins/antibodies/peptides or vaccines is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with cGMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing on in-process or drug substances using bio-analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-Vis, simple compendial tests).
• Regularly exercises technical discretion in execution and interpretation of experiments.
• Maintains detailed observations and carries out elementary data analysis.
• Understands experiments, conducts troubleshooting, and maintains instrumentation knowledge.
• Documentation (notebook/worksheet) upkeep and writing skills.
