Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation, a global materials leader, seeks an in-plant Operations Leader in Hebron, KY to oversee expenses, employee development, KPI reporting, and safety.

You will coordinate with Sales and Customer Tech Service, manage training, support color matching, ensure production records, and drive continuous improvements. Requires a BS degree and 5 years in industrial management, plus MS Office and strong communication.

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 5 years of general industrial management experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to be successful.
• Strong written communication skills are required.
• Well versed in a variety of dispensing software platforms (Novaflow, Mixmaster, etc.) and color matching technologies (X-Rite, GSL, etc).
• Strong pressroom and printing process knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Act as point person in operational in-plant matters for the customer and Sun Chemical, coordinating with Sales and Customer Tech Service leadership for proper technical support.
• Complete in-plant personnel performance reviews and coordinate training and development programs with HR.
• Provide strong press side technical support.
• Perform color matching and formulation as needed.
• Lead continuous process improvements.
• Maintain detailed production and QC records.
