Job summary

rapportintl is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours and PRN scheduling to fit client needs.

Turkish interpreters are in immediate demand; candidates must be fully bilingual, with strong communication skills and familiarity with medical terminology. A printer, transportation, and availability M-F 7AM-5PM are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Turkish
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• In-person interpretation only; must have transportation
• Access to printer; ability to print/upload vouchers
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Availability M-F 7AM-5PM; PRN/part-time as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for Lincoln area clients.
• Operate as an independent contractor with flexible scheduling.
• Coordinate with clients; adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
