Job summary

Rapport International is seeking qualified interpreters in Lincoln, Nebraska for in-person interpretation across local medical facilities. We value fully bilingual professionals with healthcare terminology knowledge and confidentiality.

Independent contractor role with flexible hours and M-F 7AM-5PM availability. Applicants must have their own transportation, access to a printer, and willingness to learn our online portal for voucher printing/uploading.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and at least one other language
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• In-person interpreters only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Part-time schedule with availability Mon-Fri 7AM–5PM

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for Lincoln-area clients
• Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance during assignments
• Use online portal to print and upload vouchers as required
• Coordinate with facilities and clients to schedule interpretation sessions
