Job summary

Rapport International seeks qualified interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for local Nebraska clients in Lincoln. Join our team to help non-English speakers and enjoy flexible hours with community impact.

Requirements include full bilingual ability, excellent communication, familiarity with medical terminology, and confidentiality/HIPAA. You must have transportation for on-site appointments and access to a printer for vouchers.

Qualifications

Fully bilingual language skills.
Excellent communication and listening abilities.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Must attend appointments in person with transportation.
Access to a printer for vouchers.
Must have access to a printer.
Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred.
Background checks and drug screens are required.
Schedule is PRN and part-time (or less depending on languages spoken); some availability M-F 7AM-5PM is typical.

Responsibilities

Provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients, supporting healthcare facilities.
Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance during all assignments.
Coordinate with clients and interpreters for on-site appointments and scheduling.
