Job summary

aFit Staffing is seeking professional in-person Spanish interpreters to provide interpretation services across Indiana. Interpreters will facilitate communication between multi-language speakers and healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations.

Responsibilities include interpreting in healthcare and public settings, maintaining confidentiality, and traveling as needed. Applicants should be fluent in Spanish and English and able to pass background screenings, with

Qualifications

• On-site work in Indiana/Indianapolis area.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Pass background screenings.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation between Spanish and English during appointments, meetings and events.
• Interpret healthcare appointments, public health visits, and community events.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and interpreter ethics.
• Interpret faithfully without adding or omitting meaning and remain neutral and professional.
• Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled assignments; travel to Indiana locations.
• Complete required documentation after assignments.
