Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hosting an in-person hiring event for FLEX Customer Service Security Officers in the Seattle area. Attend with a resume and casual attire; interviews occur every Wednesday 9am-12pm at 509 Olive Way, Suite 505, Seattle, WA 98101.

The position is in person with shifts that flex weekly; wage is $28.90 per hour. Responsibilities include patrols, de-escalation, and maintaining safety on client premises, with entry to the pre-employment screening process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must have 1+ years security & 1+ years customer service/hospitality experience.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus!
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout a shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain composure during urgent or high-pressure situations with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
