H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to join our local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns with guidance from experienced teammates.

No prior tax experience is required; you’ll receive comprehensive training and ongoing support while building vital client-service skills and tax knowledge. This is an in‑person role at a local tax office with scheduling flexibility during peak periods.

Formación

• Successful completion of the HR Block Income Tax Course 1
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly
• Problem-solving skills and organizing information
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client‑first approach
