Job summary

Park Avenue Center is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead psychoeducational and activity groups, delivering structured sessions and maintaining clinical documentation in an EMR system. You will work under supervision, ensuring ethical standards and collaborating with counselors.

In-person, part-time M-F days/evenings; hourly wage $28. Must maintain CEUs, adhere to 245G rules, and demonstrate professionalism with clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be a Master’s Level Mental Health Student or licensed clinician as listed.
• Must obtain and maintain required continuing education units and training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be free of chemical use for at least two years preceding hire.
• Knowledge of MN Statute 245G licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a variety of gender-specific groups including, but not limited to, activity and psychoeducational.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clients' participation and progress while attending group sessions in the electronic medical record system
• Comply with MN Statute Chapter 245G requirements regarding timely paperwork and documentation
• Regularly meet with direct supervisor and attend regular team meetings
• Provide support and intervention in crisis situations
• Maintain professional interaction with clients, staff, interns and community partners while following a strict code of ethics
• Work alongside peers to offer and receive support when needed
• Maintain consistent communication with primary counselors and clinical supervisors regarding client progress and/or issues that may arise during group sessions
