Job summary

Nooksack Indian Tribe's Health Department is seeking a Mental Health Counselor Associate to provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults, youth and children across tribal and community settings, including crisis intervention. The role emphasizes culturally sensitive interventions, collaboration with families and multiple service locations.

Requires Master's degree and licensure path to WA LMHC; in-office, in-person work is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology or counseling from an accredited program.
• Active license or eligibility to obtain WA LMHC within six months.
• Experience with clinical assessments and treatment planning.
• Ability to collaborate with tribal and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to adults, youth and children.
• Deliver crisis intervention and safety planning.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and records.
• Coordinate services with tribal programs and external agencies.
• Travel to multiple service locations including tribal offices and schools.
