National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is seeking a Membership Sales Representative for face-to-face, community-based outreach. You will connect with small business owners, present NFIB’s impact, and invite them to join a national movement advocating on their behalf.

This role emphasizes a hunter/closer approach with a structured sales model. Strong communication, self-motivation, and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Coachable and able to follow a proven sales process.
• Strong work ethic with persistence and drive.
• Excellent communication skills for in-person conversations.
• Able to think quickly and adapt in live conversations.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with small business owners through in-person prospecting (no appointment setting).
• Deliver NFIB’s proven, 5-minute sales presentation with confidence and urgency.
• Build rapport and communicate NFIB’s mission clearly and compellingly.
• Address objections and close membership enrollments in one visit.
• Process membership payments on the spot.
