The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is hiring adjunct faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year in Newport, RI. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses such as MTH170 Concepts in Mathematics and MTH172 Quantitative Methods for Business. Applicants must hold a master's degree in mathematics or a related field and have prior teaching experience.

In-person classes will be taught on campus and candidates should be able to manage grading, prepare syllabi, and utilize the Canvas learning management system effectively.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and teach in-person, on-campus classes.
• Prepare, proctor, and grade examinations.
• Grade and return student assignments in a timely manner.
• Provide a course syllabus at the start of the semester.
• Use Canvas to distribute course materials.
• Hold weekly office hours.
• Use Salve email for official correspondence.
