Job summary

rapportintl is seeking qualified interpreters for in-person assignments in the Omaha area. We welcome hard-working, fully bilingual candidates to serve local clients and help non-English speakers access services with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.

This independent contractor role offers flexible PRN hours, part-time commitments, and the possibility to work around your schedule, with availability required mostly weekdays between 7AM and 5PM.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in English and Japanese.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Must have in-person availability and transportation to attend appointments locally.
• Printer access and ability to print vouchers for online portal.
• Prior interpreting experience or certification preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening required.
• PRN part-time schedule with M-F 7AM–5PM availability.
