The English Language Institute at the University at Buffalo invites applications for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Adjunct Instructors to teach credit-bearing English courses to first-year international undergraduate students in-person.

Qualifications

• Teach credit-bearing English courses to first-year international undergraduate students.
• Prepare lessons based on student needs with emphasis on academic writing or speaking.
• Maintain records of grades and attendance and participate in departmental meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lessons prioritizing academic writing and/or speaking.
• Evaluate student progress through papers, presentations, and engagement.
• Maintain student records and attendance.
• Hold regular office hours for student conferencing.
