Job summary

Huntington Learning Center is seeking dynamic phonics and reading tutors to teach small groups to elementary students in Columbus area schools during the school day. This in-person role requires a bachelor’s degree and offers hourly compensation based on credentials.

The position is part-time (20-35 hours/week), with a Monday–Friday schedule. Prior teaching experience is preferred and certification is a plus. Stay-at-home parents or former teachers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED.
• Prior teaching experience PREFERRED.
• Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum.
• Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
• Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
• Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
