Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate for subject/level assigned.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum plans for the assigned program.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Use data to plan and implement instructional strategies reflecting student needs.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed (IEP).
• Cooperate with staff to plan objectives and methods per district requirements.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides/volunteers in the classroom.
• Utilize technology to enhance teaching and learning.
