Job summary

WhiteWater in downtown Austin, Texas is offering an Accounting Intern position for Summer 2027. This in-office internship provides hands-on exposure to core financial operations, including data entry, month-end close support, and involvement in reporting and projects to ensure accurate financial records.

Candidates must be enrolled in Finance or Accounting with at least 9 accounting hours, have completed four semesters, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled toward a Finance or Accounting degree with at least 9 accounting credits.
• Completed at least four semesters of college coursework.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Data Entry into ERP system for accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with revenue recognition per ASC 606.
• Help develop procedures to improve workflow and internal controls.
• Prepare a presentation summarizing internship learnings for management.
