Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in person. You will implement ABA-based behavioral strategies, collect data, and support progress toward personal goals.

In this role, you will collaborate with a BCBA, families, and educators, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA and behavioral therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and confidentiality.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Background in special education or related fields is a plus.
• RBT Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Provide direct support in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals.
• Participate in training and professional development.
