Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist-Hospitals to join our team in Melrose MA. The role focuses on high-quality blood collection, accurate data entry, and providing exceptional patient service in a hospital/in-patient setting.

Schedule is Monday–Friday early mornings with rotating weekends; travel to additional sites as needed. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Ability to pass color blindness test and maintain accuracy under supervision.

Aufgaben

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
