Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Arizona pharmacy technician license required and PTCB certification preferred.
• Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process electronic prescriptions and verify insurance coverage.
• Select and package medications, labeling containers.
• Coordinate delivery of pharmaceuticals to clinics.
• Handle patient billing inquiries and payment options.
• Resolve payor issues and re-authorizations as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA adherence and protect PHI.
• Assist CFO with contract-related prescription filling.
• Communicate with staff on payer changes and rules.
