Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to support its in-house legal team in Oklahoma City. The role emphasizes organization, docketing, document management, and coordination with outside counsel.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in paralegal work, strong written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365. In-house or oil and gas experience is a plus, with in-office work and occasional hybrid flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of paralegal or legal support experience.
  • Solid grasp of legal terminology, processes, and document management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys with case management, docketing, document organization, and outside counsel coordination on demands, subpoenas, and litigation matters.
  • Assist with the intake and processing of legal notices and related correspondence.
  • Partner with internal teams to collect documentation needed for demands and litigation matters.
  • Assist with legal holds and eDiscovery, including issuing hold notices, tracking compliance, and coordinating document collection and preservation.
  • Assist attorneys with preparing case summaries and reports.
  • Work with outside counsel on vendor onboarding and legal billing through OpenInvoice.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys, including calendaring, travel, and expense reporting.
