Job summary

Family Health Medical Services, PLLC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to support providers and ensure a smooth patient experience at our Jamestown, NY offices. The RN will float between two offices, providing direct patient care and utilizing current preventive care standards.

Responsibilities include vital signs, medication reconciliation, vaccines, EKGs, injections, wound care, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification obtained within 30 days of hire is required.
• At least two years of healthcare experience in a related setting is required.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in New York State is required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and perform medication reconciliation during rooming process in a timely and professional manner.
• Use disease management and health maintenance as age-based tools to assist with and create orders, administer vaccines, and other incentive measures.
• Perform various medical procedures and assist providers.
• Manage nurse schedule for non-provider visits including EKGs, oxygen testing, breathing treatments, immunizations, and injections.
• Administer medications and provide diabetic education.
• Assess patient medical conditions over the phone and for walk-ins.
• Perform phlebotomy and wound care.
