Job summary

Innovative Outsourcing is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Atlanta to support multi-entity accounting with strong reconciliation experience. This onsite role reports to the on-site Controller and involves monthly reconciliations across numerous bank and brokerage accounts, GL maintenance, AP/AR processing, and assisting with close and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on reconciliation experience, solid accounting fundamentals, and a meticulous, discreet work style.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience performing high-volume bank and/or brokerage reconciliations.
Solid command of debits and credits, journal entries, and the general ledger.
Experience with multi-entity accounting, investment accounts, or real estate accounting is a plus.
Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting software.
Polished, professional communication style and highly organized; discreet with confidential information.

Responsibilities

Reconcile approximately 60 bank and brokerage/investment accounts each month, accurately and on schedule.
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain the general ledger for multiple entities.
Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding, then process payments and manage AP/AR.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial and investment reports.
