LRSolutions, LLC in McDonough, GA is seeking an experienced In-Mold Grading (IMG) Supervisor to lead daily forming press, bonding, and wrapping operations within a start-up manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate will supervise production staff, monitor equipment performance, ensure quality and safety, train workers, and help establish production procedures as the site scales to full production.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience involving forming presses, in-mold grading, lamination, bonding, or related production processes.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience with forming press equipment, including compression molding, vacuum forming, or thermoforming.
• Knowledge of TPO, films, fabrics, and other materials used in bonding and wrapping applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues, monitor process parameters, and identify product defects.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

• Supervise daily in-mold grading, forming press, bonding, and wrapping operations to meet production, quality, and safety objectives.
• Coordinate employee assignments, production schedules, and workflow across assigned operations.
• Monitor forming press parameters, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times, to ensure consistent product quality.
• Oversee manual and automated bonding and wrapping processes, ensuring proper material alignment, tension, and adhesion.
• Troubleshoot production issues, equipment performance concerns, and recurring defects to minimize downtime.
• Ensure finished products meet customer specifications for surface appearance, texture quality, adhesion, and overall fit and finish.
• Identify and resolve defects, including wrinkles, bubbles, material damage, and improper bonding.
• Support process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and maintain consistent manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Train, coach, and develop production employees on equipment operation, quality standards, and safe work practices.
• Monitor employee performance, reinforce accountability, and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and 5S standards.
• Support start-up activities, including equipment readiness, work instruction development, and implementation of standardized production procedures.
• Manufacturing facility currently in the start-up phase; shifts may vary; regular presence required on the production floor.
