Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Candidate Attraction In-Market Support for Baxter, MN on a 4-month contract. This seasonal, field-based role executes boots-on-the-ground candidate attraction activities weekly under guidance of the Market Response Specialist (MRS).

The MRS defines strategy while this role handles execution, including on-site recruitment tasks, events, canvassing, and reporting. Flexible 32-hour weeks are typical; travel within local market may occur.

Qualifications

• HS diploma minimum.
• Must live in or within commutable distance of assigned market location.
• Reliable personal transportation for travel within the local market area.
• Ability to work independently in the field following documented processes and a defined playbook with support from MRS.
• Availability to work a flexible 32-hour weekly schedule, which may include some weekend, early morning or evening hours based on market need.

Responsibilities

• Execute weekly in-market activities per playbook, including collateral placement and material refreshes.
• Conduct regular visits to community partner locations to maintain and replenish hiring materials (flyers, posters, QR codes).
• Distribute referral program materials on-site and engage associates as directed by the MRS.
• Attend and support local hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach activities as scheduled.
• Perform grassroots canvassing including door-to-door business outreach and posting in high-traffic community locations.
• Collect and report local market intelligence observations to the MRS.
• Maintain accurate tracking logs of all activities completed.
• Provide weekly activity reports to the MRS documenting execution status and field observations.
• Act as Referral Ambassador for assigned site, engaging associates about referrals during breaks and standups.
• Coordinate with community partners for material drop-offs and relationship maintenance touchpoints.

Job Summary

• The Candidate Attraction In-Market Support is a seasonal, field-based role responsible for executing boots-on-the-ground candidate attraction activities at an assigned market on a weekly basis.
• This role operates under the direct guidance of the Market Response Specialist (MRS), following an MRS-provided playbook to carry out localized outreach tasks.
• The MRS owns strategy, direction, and accountability for results. This role owns execution.

Key job responsibilities

• Execute weekly in-market activities as outlined in the provided playbook, including collateral placement and material refreshes
• Conduct regular visits to community partner locations to maintain and replenish hiring materials (flyers, posters, QR codes)

• Recruiting for tier 1 entry level warehouse roles, no resume or interviews, no work experience, no HS diploma.
• Not a ton of candidate pool, need to be creative with recruiting. Only requirement is 18 yr or older
• They will be the only one onsite. The team is in Seattle and sometimes travel to these sites as well. Mainly communicating virtually. Weekly meetings/ touchpoints.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in field-based outreach, canvassing, community engagement, or grassroots marketing
• Familiarity with the local community, businesses, and organizations in the assigned market Experience with event support or coordination
• Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, or workforce development environments
• Candidate attraction (marketing) recruitment teams using community partners by talking to local people, site leads.
• Boots on the ground insight.
• Working in rural areas that traditional marketing doesn’t work.

• Schedule: Flexible: some days could be 4 hours other days could be 8 hours (Could be early as 5am ranging to 9pm at night (rare- specific community event). Mostly early morning or daytime. Max total time in one day would be up to 10 hours (rare)
