The role involves planning, implementing, and supervising SLP services, with a focus on CMS-compliant documentation and FEES/MBS protocol oversight. Active licensure and CCC are required, with ongoing CEU engagement encouraged.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency required.
• Active state license in practice states must be maintained.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in speech-language procedures for daily carryover.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening to ensure resident needs are met timely and with clinical excellence.
