Job summary

Regency Care of Rogue Valley is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house team at the Grants Pass, Oregon location. You will work within a collaborative, clinician-led culture focused on clinical excellence, mentorship, and resident outcomes in a skilled nursing setting.

The role includes evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, swallowing and cognitive disorders, performing initial evaluations and OASIS assessments, and developing individualized

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of speech pathology and language disorders.
• Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or the Accrediting Body.
• Experience in an in-house rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers medically prescribed speech therapy for speech, language and swallowing issues.
• Evaluates speech and language skills in relation to medical and educational factors.
• Reviews referrals and medical records to determine therapy.
• Performs initial patient evaluations and OASIS assessments as appropriate.
• Develops written treatment plans with physician, patient and caregiver involvement.
• Plans direct or conduct rehabilitative treatments to restore communicative efficiency.
• Other duties as requested.
