Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in the state of operation.
• Older adult rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with governmental/regulatory guidelines in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct resident rehabilitation care per standard practices.
• Evaluate residents and establish effective treatment plans.
• Coordinate supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines.
• Screen residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Provide feedback to supervisor on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participate in center-directed processes and services.
• Prepare clinical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Maintain billing records accurately and timely.
• Participate in in-service training programs.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services on a limited basis.
