Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility located in Dunn Loring, VA. This role requires planning, organizing, and directing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, to ensure the highest quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OT license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment.
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Interpret and communicate findings, plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules with team collaboration.
• Provide therapy according to the treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of OT services.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure documentation and treatments meet reimbursement practices.

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active OT license in practicing state(s)
