Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Annandale, VA. Job type includes Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions.

You will plan, organize, develop, and direct OT services to uphold federal, state, and local standards while ensuring the highest quality resident care. Supervising a COTA, documenting and billing therapy services, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s).
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention for each patient.
• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans with goals.
• Interpret and communicate findings to residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with the team.
• Conduct therapy per plan and document and bill OT services.
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Oversee COTA and ensure documentation and reimbursement practices are followed.
