Job summary

Aprés Nail, Inc. seeks an in-house Nail Technician to join a brand at the intersection of craft, creativity, and content. This role supports shoots, education content, and product storytelling with expert gel techniques and deep product knowledge.

You will lead nail looks on set, advise on techniques that read on camera, and collaborate across Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to advance education curricula and brand demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology or nail tech license in California.
• 5+ years of professional nail tech experience with Gel-X or equivalent.
• Hands-on proficiency with Aprés Nail systems preferred; gel extension exp required.
• Strong trend awareness and ability to translate trends into looks.
• Detail-oriented with professional finish on in-house content.
• Collaborative and able to work with Creative, Marketing, Education, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead nail technician for in-house creative shoots and brand content.
• Collaborate with Production Art Director and Brand Director on pre-production nail looks.
• Manage nail prep, application, and finishing on set to maintain schedule and quality.
• Apply nails on camera for tutorials and demos with clear narration when needed.
• Contribute ideas for social nail content and platform-native formats.
• Work with social/video teams to align looks with content calendar and launches.
• Partner with Education to develop curriculum and training materials.
