Job description

In House Maintenance Technicians

In House Maintenance Technicians are experts in building systems and industrial equipment, including three-phase AC/DC power circuits used in warehouses. They read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to repair, adjust, install machinery, and perform plumbing, carpentry, welding, and cutting tasks. They also utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage maintenance repairs.

Available positions include: In House Maintenance Technician Class A, B, or C. The specific position offered depends on the candidate's qualifications and work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Be at least 20 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
• Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, lift, reach, push, pull, climb, and crawl
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems
• Successfully complete required tests: Computation, Following Written Directions, Space Visualization, Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Ability to operate and maintain hand tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to advance in the role

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Industrial Maintenance Associate certification
• Mechanical and diagnostic knowledge of powered industrial equipment
• Knowledge of warehouse plumbing
• Experience with ARC, MIG, and GAS welding and cutting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Experience in building/industrial maintenance or related trade
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems
• Carpentry skills
• Knowledge of D.C. voltage circuits and operational sequences
• Understanding of electrical (A.C. and D.C.) theory
