Job summary

Trulieve seeks a mid-level Litigation Counsel to join our in-house Legal team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will manage a portfolio of commercial and regulatory disputes, supervise outside counsel, and advise internal stakeholders on risk management and practical guidance.

The role requires 5–8 years of litigation experience, strong advocacy, and familiarity with e-discovery workflows. This is an on-site position with a broad scope across U.S. regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Arizona bar admission or eligibility/registration via admission on motion.
• 4–8 years of litigation experience in law firms or in-house.
• Experience managing complex litigation and arbitration matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse disputes including commercial and employment matters.
• Direct outside counsel on strategy, budget, discovery, and trial prep.
• Coordinate responses to subpoenas and regulatory inquiries; ensure timely productions.
• Provide practical legal guidance to internal clients on risk and dispute avoidance.
• Keep budgets, matter reports, and SOPs up to date.
• Monitor developments in state and federal law and share updates.
