Job summary

Azuria Water Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Litigation & Claims Counsel to lead the litigation and claims functions across North America.

You will supervise the claims team, oversee outside counsel and TPAs, and implement robust management processes. You will serve as the primary advisor on insured and uninsured claims, commercial disputes, regulatory issues, and litigation for the company’s operating businesses.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• Minimum of eight years of legal experience with significant litigation and claims management responsibilities.
• In-house counsel experience strongly preferred; experience managing complex litigation portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Oversee insured and uninsured claims portfolio across North America, with focus on mitigation of litigation exposure.
• Lead claims team, manage outside counsel, and oversee third-party administrators and specialists.
• Direct litigation, arbitrations, mediations, and pre-litigation disputes to align with business objectives.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, and coverage counsel on reporting, reserves, and recovery opportunities.
• Develop and improve litigation and claims tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and escalation processes.
• Provide training and develop the team; support mergers and acquisitions due diligence related to litigation and risk.
