Job summary

All Allied World seeks an experienced attorney to manage coverage litigation across multiple lines of business, driving strategy and coordinating with underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance and technology teams.

The role emphasizes advocacy, discovery oversight, outside counsel management, and timely reporting of claim developments to management. This is a full-time position that supports professional growth within Allied World’s global network.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) with bar admission in good standing.
• Experience managing insurance coverage litigation.
• Ability to collaborate with underwriting, claims, finance, actuarial and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage coverage litigation across a broad spectrum of accounts and policy forms.
• Retain counsel, develop and oversee litigation strategy, interact with counsel and parties.
• Oversee discovery, prepare and file matters, and establish reserves.
• Provide guidance on coverage questions and inform claim department personnel.
• Identify training opportunities for other departments.
• Represent the Company in mediations and arbitrations and report to E&O carriers.
