Legal Recruiter (In-House)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Position Summary
A dynamic and experienced Legal Recruiter is sought to join a remote team. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing top-tier legal talent across various practice areas. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of legal recruitment experience and a strong understanding of the legal hiring landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract qualified legal professionals through various channels
- Develop hiring strategies and draft job descriptions
- Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews and advise hiring managers throughout the process
- Build relationships with law school career services for intern and clerk pipelines
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle, including offer negotiations
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics
- Advise on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring strategies
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to forecast hiring needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of legal recruitment experience (agency or in-house)
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field required
- J.D. strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of legal roles across practice areas
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with ATS systems, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions independently
- Comfort using generative AI tools to enhance recruitment outcomes
