Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar admission in good standing.
• 4–7 years of legal experience, ideally in construction law, real estate development, or design‑professional liability.
• Deep understanding of architectural/interior design lifecycle, procurement risks, and insurance structures.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate owner-architect agreements and vendor terms.
• Manage and oversee the firm's insurance portfolio (PLI/E&O, CGL, EPLI).
• Identify and resolve design liability, construction disputes, and delay claims.
• Protect proprietary designs and NDAs for digital assets.
• Monitor licensing compliance and multi‑state professional licensing requirements.
