NSK Americas, Inc. seeks a General Counsel to lead the legal and compliance function for its North American operations, managing a small team in the US and Mexico, and advising the executive team on governance, risk mitigation, and regulatory matters.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD with bar admission and 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably 8–10; experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors, strong analytical and leadership skills, and a track record in in-house or Tier-1

Qualifications

• JD required with bar admission and a clean disciplinary record.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience; 8–10 years preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industries preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; leadership capability.
• Ability to lead in-house legal matters and collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead the legal and compliance function for NSK Americas North American operations.
• Oversee governance, corporate policies and external compliance.
• Manage a small team in the US and Mexico and coordinate with outside counsel.
• Handle commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and risk management.
• Interface with executive leadership on legal strategy and risk mitigation.
• Ensure training, policy development and project execution.
