Since inception, FRAME has embodied Californian modernity with a distinctly European influence through its renowned ready-to-wear collections and coveted denim essentials. Born and raised in Los Angeles, FRAME offers a timeless perspective on everyday chic outfitting via signature tailoring, luxury leather, and quality cashmere.

Today, FRAME is a household name across both women’s and men’s design, with 16 standalone retail stores across North America, two London stores, a store in Shanghai and a dedicated eCommerce website. FRAME can also be found at the most desirable department stores and boutiques worldwide.

Role Overview

Part of the Architecture Department and reporting to the Head of Store Development, you will support the design activities of future FRAME spaces across the global portfolio. As part of a creative environment, you are responsible for shaping the brand image.

You come from a background in design or architecture with formal training and 2‑3 years of experience as an in‑house designer or conceptual architect, ideally within the retail sector for a high‑end brand. You possess a strong aesthetic sensibility, a keen eye for detail, and a meticulous approach to work. You are well‑organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks with rigor. A foundational understanding of building materials and construction standards is essential. You are eager to grow within a dynamic company environment and thrive as part of a collaborative, team‑oriented culture.

You will be reporting to the Head of Store Development and working under the supervision of the Global CEO; you will collaborate with internal departments (VM, Retail, etc.) and sometimes external parties. You will participate in project presentations with the CEO, the Co‑Founder and the Regional CEOs. Design work constitutes 80 % of the workload, with 20 % of the time devoted to design coordination and sourcing.

  • Develop 3D models and renderings, producing floor plans and iterating with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with architects of record or project coordinators to ensure compliance with local building codes and ADA regulations.
  • Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings (floor plans, RCP, MEP, elevations, sections) for tender processes.
  • Prepare millwork and furniture drawings (plans, sections, details) for millwork tenders.
  • Work with lighting designers to develop optimal lighting layouts.
Design Coordination
  • Support multiple concurrent projects across different phases and coordinate with assigned project managers.
  • Source imagery, physical material samples, and create material schedules for vendor coordination.
  • Compile master documents listing equipment, installations, and FF&E details for procurement.
  • Source FF&E and artwork, providing detailed inventories for project managers.
Other Missions (not limited to)
  • Build 2D/3D libraries to improve project efficiency.
  • Research materials and explore innovative solutions for material libraries.
  • Assist visual merchandising and regional offices in sourcing furniture and artwork for pop‑ups or events.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Background in design, interior design, or architecture school.
  • 2‑3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Rhinoceros, V‑Ray/Enscape, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements
  • Remain seated at a computer or drawing table for extended periods.
  • Use hands and fingers to operate computer equipment, software, sketches, and technical drawings.
