Qualifications

• Strong understanding of construction disputes and commercial matters.
• Ability to coordinate with risk management/insurance carriers.
• Skills in litigation strategy and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Manage CMC's litigation docket and construction disputes.
• Coordinate with risk management on tendered claims.
• Partner with business teams to resolve disputes.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding company matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations.
• Communicate and manage tasks regarding legal issues.

Skills

Ability to read, comprehend, and negotiate legal documents

Experience working with Legal, Audit and compliance staff

Knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws and guidelines

Education

Bachelor’s degree required

JD or paralegal certification preferred

Paralegal certification from an ABA approved school
