Job summary

Latitude is seeking an in-house Commercial Transactions Attorney to join our Nashville-area legal team on-site. This full-time role focuses on managing deal flow, due diligence, drafting, negotiation and closing across corporate transactions, with collaboration from business teams and leaders.

The candidate should have 4+ years of corporate transactional experience, strong M&A and contract foundations, and excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Tennessee bar is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
• Strong foundation in general corporate work — M&A, commercial contracts, corporate transactions.
• Finance experience (loan agreements, credit facilities, letters of credit, or similar) is a significant plus.
• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible to register for in-house exemption).

In-House Commercial Transactions Attorney (On-site / Full Time In-House Counsel)

Latitude is working with a Nashville-area company that is adding a full-time transactional attorney to its legal team. You will work alongside experienced attorneys and business leaders on matters that support the company’s strategy, growth, and innovation.

The attorney must be able to independently manage deal flow, including due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and closing, while handling multiple transactions and deadlines.

Candidates should be prepared during the interview process to discuss the specific types of transactions they have supported and their level of involvement.

This is a full-time, on-site position in the Nashville area with robust benefits, including future eligibility to participate in a stock option plan.

Basic Requirements For The In-House Commercial Transactions Attorney

• 4+ years of corporate transactional experience at a law firm and/or in-house, with a strong preference for BigLaw experience


• Solid foundation in general corporate work — M&A, commercial contracts, corporate transactions


• Finance experience (loan agreements, credit facilities, letters of credit, or similar) is a significant plus


• Strong drafting and negotiation skills


• Ability to work efficiently and successfully in a high-paced corporate environment, managing multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously


• Keen attention to detail


• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school


• Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across various business teams and internal stakeholders

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $220,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
