GYMGUYZ Bergen, Hudson & Rockland Counties is seeking a Certified Yoga Instructor to deliver one-on-one fitness guidance and wellness coaching at clients’ homes or preferred locations. The role is part-time, with a focus on personalized programs and exceptional customer service to help clients reach their goals.

You will lead safe, effective sessions, document progress in our app, and coordinate with clients for reassessments every month.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor.
• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent. Advanced education preferred.
• All experience levels welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Have a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
• Knowledgeable of a variety of Yoga methods.
• Clean Driver’s License/driving record.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment.
• Choose customized exercises that provide optimum results per the client’s needs.
• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly with or without modifications.
• Document and plan your sessions in our GYMGUYZ App.
• Complete session notes after each client training session.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4 – 6 weeks.
• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.
