Lutheran Family and Children's Services (LFCS) in Missouri is seeking a Case Manager/Social Worker to coordinate and provide care to clients in a way that is safe, timely, effective, equitable, and client-centered. The role supports in-home or virtual counseling, education, and post-adoption services to birth parents and families.

The position requires a social work or related degree and a valid driver’s license; two years of child welfare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other Human Behavior Science.
• Candidate must be a licensed driver with access to dependable personal transportation and auto insurance
• Preferred Two years’ experience in child welfare, working with children and families.
• Passion for making a difference and supporting families through life’s challenges.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and provide care to clients that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered.
• Provide case management, pregnancy counseling, parenting and adoption education, community education and outreach, and post-adoption support for birth parents.
• Create a service plan in conjunction with the client to develop goals and objectives that are consistent with what the client wishes to accomplish.
• Counsel, advocate, and teach clients the skills identified in their service plan face to face in home or virtually.
• Respond to client’s crisis situations within program parameters in a timely manner according to program protocols.
