Community Horizons is seeking a caring and energetic caregiver to support a toddler on weekday evenings from 4:30pm to 8:00pm and on weekends with flexible hours. You will engage the child during reading, music, and play, assist with snacks and meals, and help monitor safety at all times.

The role welcomes high school and college students. Reliable transportation to the home and a Wisconsin background check are required; prior experience with special needs is a strong bonus, and parents will

• Must pass Wisconsin background check.
• Reliable transportation to/from home.
• Experience with childcare, respite care, or working with special needs is a major bonus.
• High school and college students encouraged to apply!

Responsabilidades

• Actively engage with the toddler during 1:1 time through reading, music, following his lead, or play.
• Assist with preparing snacks and meals and feeding.
• Monitor safety and activities to prevent the toddler from putting non-food items in his mouth.
• Assist with urine toileting (toddler wears pull ups; parents handle bowel movements).
• Occasionally accompany the family on local outings to the park or library; note transportation is provided by parents.
