Our In-Home Therapy Clinicians at BAMSI provide services within the community to people of all ages, mainly youth who are experiencing personal difficulties in their lives due to psychiatric and/or emotional symptoms arising from current or past stressors, life crises, problems in school, developmental issues, mental illness, adjustment disorders, or substance abuse.

The Home Based Team (HBT) engages youth and families by providing needed supports and highly individualized services to help strengthen families, reduce child protective concerns, and encourage resiliency, empowerment, and self-sufficiency. In-Home therapy services involve a structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a Clinician and the youth and family to address behavioral needs. Clinical services and assessments support youth and families challenged by emotional and physical stressors.

General Statement of Duties: Clinicians at BAMSI provide community-based services to individuals of all ages, primarily youth facing personal difficulties due to psychiatric and/or emotional symptoms stemming from stressors, crises, school issues, developmental challenges, mental illness, adjustment disorders, or substance abuse.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct diagnostic evaluations, individual psychotherapy, family, and group therapy.
2. Maintain up-to-date clinical records and complete all required documentation clearly, concisely, and promptly.
3. Provide a minimum of fifteen billable client contact hours per week.
4. Participate in staff meetings, weekly supervision, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
5. Obtain necessary prior authorizations from funding sources (e.g., insurance, Medicaid) for services provided.
6. Participate in the 24-hour on-call rotation to offer crisis support and intervention for youth and families.
7. Complete all required trainings.
8. Provide clinical services at the location preferred by the client, including in-home, in-office, or virtual settings.

Education/Credentials:

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required.
• LICSW or LCSW preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Experience:

• Experience with 3rd Party Billing preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Own transportation and a satisfactory driving record required.
